What are Medicare Advantage Plans?

Medicare Advantage Plans are also known as Part C Plans are offered through private insurance carriers, and may include additional plan benefits. Depending on your medical needs, these plans may help you significantly reduce your out-of-pocket health care costs.

A Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) policy is health insurance that can help pay some of the health care costs that Original Medicare doesn't cover, like coinsurance, copayments, or deductibles.

There are three Enrollment Periods:
(1) Initial Enrollment
(2) Medicare Advantage Plan & Prescription Drug Plan Annual Enrollment Period
(3) Special Enrollment Period
